Hey guys!! so i finished reading Love at First like by Hannah Orenstein last Monday. And I've been meaning to pen down my thoughts on this but just couldn't get the time. But, i'm finally writing a review on this today!!
I found the book to be quite hyped. When I had started reading this one.. I had great expectations from it. I thought it would be funny, romantic kinda story. But not once did this book make me laugh, a smile here and there maybe, but never a good laugh!
Well i must say, that was quite disappointing!
Another thing that bothered me was the fact that the author could've slightly changed the ending! I'm not gonna give away any spoiler! Don't worry about that, but i still feel, maybe, she shouldn't have shown Eliza to be such a strong headed, career-oriented girl and yet so desperate!
Please do let me know if you feel differently in the comments below!! now here's a short synopsis of the story:
'The story revolves around a girl named Eliza who owns a jewellery shop along with her elder sister. One drunk night she accidentally posts a picture of herself with an engagement ring on her Instagram account which becomes beneficial for her shop!
It's now upon Eliza to find a fake fiance and try and save her shop from closing down! Read on to know how she struggles with her fake love life, real career difficulties and Raj, who may not be perfect for her on paper, but maybe just perfect for her in real life!!'
Do let me know what you thought about this one??!!
And don't forget to visit again next week!!
I'll be reviewing a new and upcoming author's brand new novel!!
Till then... keep spreading love!!💓
